Welcome to the RIS MS LA blog! I will use this site to update information about various classes, discuss books, provide websites for students to explore, and just communicate with all of you! I hope that this site will be a useful tool to improve communication and understanding between me and all of you. Welcome!

There are many new changes here at RIS! There are new faces, schedules, activities...not to fear! The start of a new school year may be a little nerve wracking, but it's also a great time for you to form new friendships and kickstart some healthy habits. 
 This year in the Middle School Language Arts classes, I am challenging all students to read at least a minimum of 30mins. per day at home.  This will help you improve your reading and writing skills, overall comprehension of the English language, and it will hopefully inspire you in more ways than one.  Are you up for the challenge?!
